Caitlin Smoler M.S. CCC-SLP

Owner, Speech-Language Pathologist

Hi there, welcome to Itsy Bitsy Speakers! I’m Caitlin, your go-to person for helping your child achieve their communication goals. I specialize in Speech and Language Delays, Articulation and Phonological Disorders, Augmentative and Alternative Communication (AAC), Feeding, Orofacial Myofunctional Disorders, Autism Spectrum Disorders, Gestalt Language Processing, Early Intervention, and Fluency.

My experience spans early intervention, school-based services, and private practice, allowing me to support children with a wide range of communication needs. I believe therapy should be engaging and meaningful, so I take a play-based approach that helps children learn while having fun. I also value partnering closely with parents and caregivers to ensure every child receives personalized, consistent support both during therapy and at home.

In addition to my clinical work, I am a published children's book author and was honored to be named New Jersey's Favorite Kids' Doc in 2025 & 2026. These experiences reflect my commitment to helping children discover their voices, build confidence, and reach their full potential.

Phone Consultation

During a free phone consultation, we will discuss your child's individualized needs and how we can obtain their goals. We will discuss how to tailor sessions to benefit your child most and session styles.

Evaluation

During the initial evaluation, I will interview you with a brief case history with the goal of better understanding how to support your family best. I will then conduct an informal assessment with your child to gather more in-depth information and create an individualized program.

Therapy Begins

Using the individualized plan based on your evaluation, I will provide top-quality 1-on-1 therapy to promote positive growth for your child. Sessions will occur in the setting most appropriate to meet your family's needs and improve your overall quality of life.
